My journey so far
My Journey with filmmaking started in 2016. I made a choice to study Media, English, and Psychology at A level for two years, in hopes of learning and progressing skills to help me pursue my passion, screenwriting. During this time I studied a lot of theory which helped me gain a solid base in structure, meaning, and analysis. From there I made the choice to go to film school, in order to gain the real-world skills to start to put together my filmmaking toolbox, which I could bring to any production I was part of.
Over the last three years I have made sure to try every role in the film production process, most of the time starting in the deep end way out of my comfort zone, pushing through the adversity. I've done this to fully understand each role that are part of the process, and bring that knowledge into my specialty interests of screenwriting.
During this time at The University of the Creative Arts, I discovered a passion for documentary filmmaking, an area which I now want to pursue as a career. This passion has lead me to complete my third-year graduation film - Feed. - which is a self-shot observational doc in which I have done every single role, from conception to post-production. Completing this project made me realise that there's still a long road to go before I feel like I can call myself a complete filmmaker, but as my projects increase, so does my toolbox.

Screenwriting examples.
